Are you a comic that lives in NC? Great news!
We've created this new category exclusively for North Carolina-based comics.
The Local is a free submission category that helps us better celebrate and highlight homegrown talent.
All comics accepted in this category will perform as hosts.
You are welcome to submit to both Feature and Local categories. If you're accepted as a Feature, we'll automatically withdraw your Local submission. If you're selected for both, you can choose which role you prefer.
Last year, we received over 550 Feature comic submissions, so we want to be transparent that the competition is strong.
If you are not accepted in either category, we hope you’ll consider joining us as a Festival volunteer. You’ll get access to free food, drinks, and merch.
Your best, unedited 5 minute tape.
You don't need to start at the beginning of your set — we just want to see your best, funniest, most polished set, in front of a live audience.
